Job Purpose and Impact

The Temporary Plant HR Leader in Fresno, California manages the HR team on-site at the plant and is an integral part of the plant leadership team. The Temporary Plant HR Leader provides leadership on key HR processes such as performance management, employee engagement, recognition programs, production staffing, onboarding and assimilation, learning and development, employee relations, discipline, separations, investigations, and regulatory & compliance. 

Please note: This is a temporary 6-month full-time assignment with possible extension to 12 months.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee and lead a team of HR professionals on-site in Fresno by providing meaningful and effective coaching and consulting services to the businesses.
  • Leverage and enforce processes and technologies to support delivery of services.
  • Establish a team with a strong client focus, an environment of collaboration and enablement, effective and successful performance and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and support change management for the assigned team.
  • Collaborate with global human resource solutions, regional leadership, centers of excellence, demand management and global enterprise or functional teams for effective resource planning and partner feedback.
  • Partner with internal and external legal stakeholders and or consultants to interpret and implement complex or ambiguous policies, ensuring service delivery is compliant with laws, regulations, corporate policies and the application of standard policies.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience within the areas of employee relations or employee experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of related supervisory experience
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • Experience with California regulatory & compliance requirements

Compensation Data

The expected salary for this position is $125K - $150K, in the US. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
