Job Purpose and Impact

The HR Specialist Employee Experience/Employee Relations is responsible for handling personnel matters for a specific site. In this role, you will also assist with employee satisfaction and support onboarding, employee retention and recognition programs, and global projects and initiatives. You will continue to be responsible for smooth cooperation with the works councils.

This position is temporary for 1 year.

Key Accountabilities

• You advise on all personnel matters, interpret programs and processes and implement them, e.g. administration of new hires, contracts and document management, voluntary and involuntary departures, foreign assignments, works council negotiations, restructuring, support for change and project management and labor court proceedings.
• You are the first point of contact for investigations into employee/management inquiries and employee questions, personnel matters and individual questions.
• You offer support to employees and managers regarding policies, programs and performance improvement processes.
• You will work with colleagues to ensure employee satisfaction and employee relationship improvement activities comply with company policies and legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proven ability to lead and implement HR processes and customer-centric solutions and build strong relationships
• Experience in conducting investigations, anticipating problems, solving problems and implementing solutions
• Fluent in German and English
