Job Purpose and Impact

The Financial Controller will support our Finance Team in our brand-new office building at the Airport City! You will be the linking point between different sources of information and the relevant business partners and stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide timely and relevant financial reports reflecting our business activities accurately in both relevant ledgers, USGAAP and HGB
  • Ensure information from different sources (Tax, Financial Risk Management, Management Information & Decision Support and other functions) is timely available, consolidated and understood.
  • Be accountable for financial statement assurance and performing a first line of defense within the control framework
  • Work with the local business to identify their reporting needs and providing timely solutions
  • Foster control mindset within the business and collaborate to ensure strong control framework execution
  • Perform analytical, financial statement review at each business/country level and assist on continuous improvement of reporting processes

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master/Bachelor Degree in Accounting
  • Multiple years accounting experience
  • Validated experience with US GAAP and HGB reporting & consolidation
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Understanding and experience working with SAP or JDE
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Proficiency in German and English
