Position Information
Job Purpose and Impact
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk (2nd shift-12 month term) will proactively monitor and communicate delivery status of shipments to sales, customers, carriers and other stakeholders. In this role, you will collect and organize data for company reporting, including metrics and service failures for management analysis.
Key Accountabilities
- Apply knowledge of department operations and infrastructure, policies and procedures to perform moderately complex administrative processes.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, diaries and travel arrangements.
- Solicit, collect and organize documentation and data, performing moderately complex data entry into one or more systems.
- Receive and relay messages and respond to varied and routine administrative requests.
- Monitor pick-ups and deliveries, communicate delays and reasons to sales and carriers, handle returns, diversions and order changes.
- Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent.
- Confirmed ability to be a team player and perform in a fast-paced environment, including sound prioritization, sense of urgency and multitasking.
- Demonstrated strong client and customer focus.
- Minimum of two years of related work experience.
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related area
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience
- Experience working with SAP
