Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Buyer Sourcing Specialist in this role will manage the overall risk position of Grains / co- product for Cargill Animal Nutrition Hungary as well as will execute complex procurement tasks to provide inputs to the Global Category team. This role will execute complex procurement, drive connectivity with other CAN EMEA Businesses, Merchandising Leads and other Cargill Businesses. The position is based in Budapest, Hungary . Hybrid working is available.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans, in line with the company's and functional teams strategy, goal and budgets.
Define our risk, game plan and execute the strategy
Negotiate and manage agreements with local/ regional suppliers.
Select Suppliers in accordance with Cargill Guiding Principles, local regulations, Sourcing Policies, Quality and Service Requirements and Optimal cost for the Business.
Create and/or accept of purchase order and invoices in the system.
Monitor external factors and conditions such as Supply and Demand, price trends and market coverage.
Monitor Suppliers performance on Service and Quality according to requirements.
Close cooperation with sales, logistic, production, pricing and financial departments
Give support and work close on strategy implementation with Merchandising Leads
Support connectivity between all CAN EMEA businesses
Share best practices, opportunities and improvement with the global network and sourcing leaders.
Analyze and implement local opportunities / e.g. alternative ingredients, new ingredients, improve a value of ingredients, create and execute improvement projects/
Support pricing process by delivering market info and long term trends

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years of related work experience
Fluent English and Native Hungarian language skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Animal nutrition field.
Extensive network in animal feeding in Hungary
Experience in risk management, merchandising, agriculture commodities purchases well preferred
Understanding of local agriculture commodities market
Demonstrated good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, suppliers, peers and leaders.
Strong influencing skills, ability to work across the organization and with multiple functions, cross BU's and Functions.
Targeting on specific tasks, advanced execution skills
Be customer focused and achievement driven
High self- initiative, setting own goals and execution.
Credibility with local market leadership and key stakeholders
Comfortable in questioning the status quo and testing new ideas.
Ability to drive changes
Sound analytical skills
