Job Purpose and Impact

The SAP on Cloud Delivery and Operations Consultant, will analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems for a moderate subset of the organization. In this role, you will use specialized knowledge to build, manage, secure and run hosting services for SAP on the cloud. You will be responsible for Hosting technology operations for SAP on the cloud. 

Key Accountabilities

• Embrace DevOps/DevSecOps to build, manage, secure and run existing and future hosting services for SAP 

• Contribute to hosting design and build component services based on architecture principles developed by Hosting architecture for SAP 

• Provide on-going service support and issue management with a focus on continuous improvement 

• Ensure health of Hosting environment for SAP, by overseeing: provisioning, capacity, Hosting operations, performance management, risk and compliance. 

• Manage day-to-day operations of SAP systems on the cloud, by coordinating and working closely with cloud service providers and third-party vendors, to ensure SLAs are met.  

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent exp 

• Minimum of 4 years of related work exp 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Exp in SAP implementation, administration and operations, with a focus on cloud-based solutions  

• Strong understanding of cloud technologies (Azure), security, scalability, and cost management best practices  

• Experience working with and delivering through 3rd party vendors.
