FX Trade Product Control (TPC) Senior Analyst
Job Purpose and Impact
The FX Trade Product Control (TPC) Senior Specialist will lead the foreign exchange risk analysis & insight for relevant businesses and reporting transactions mapped through applicable FinOps. In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement the FX Control Framework and related key controls to ensure operational compliance and accuracy, completeness & timeliness of FX data and reports. You will aid the global standardization and optimization process and develop new solutions to enhance automation and implement transformation. You are regularly sought by business or functions because of your FX aptitude, and will exercise your judgement in a broader scope, having an impact on the business.
Key Accountabilities
- Partner with key stakeholders to manage foreign exchange position reporting and reconciliation and ensure any significant differences are resolved and communicated appropriately
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to monitor foreign exchange exposure and ensure completeness of all the complex financial reporting within deadlines and compare against limits, escalate, and resolve breaches of limits
- Validate reports, KPI and explain FX impacts to key stakeholders
- Participate in regional and global risk assessments
- Ensure compliance of operations and monitor points of control
- Complete understanding of application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Develop and implement process simplification, enhance process standardization, optimize reporting and drive automation and transformation processes
- Lead risk management best practices and improvement initiatives
- Build the team's capability to ensure a high performing team
- Communicate, providing engagement to the team, and share knowledge for the ongoing development of others
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of Seven years of related work experience
- Having solid knowledge within foreign exchange practices
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial risk management and proven ability to identify and quantify risks
- Good knowledge in commodities and derivatives
- US GAAP accounting understanding to evaluate financial risks
- Experience in data analytical tools such as KNIME, Tableau or Power BI
