Camp Hill Protein Processing Plant
Camp Hill is a borough in the Harrisburg-Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area, which has a population just over 647,000. Owned by Ahold, the Camp Hill facility was formerly operated by Vantage Foods before Cargill recently acquired operations during the summer of 2020. The facility will serve as a Case-Ready facility, expanding Cargill’s protein footprint and delivering protein options to grocery retailers such as Giant-Carlisle in Pennsylvania and Giant-Landover in Maryland. The facility employs 800 people and produces up to 2 million pounds of beef and pork products per week.
